Michael Schiavello and Jason “Mayhem” Miller are the commentators for King of the Cage’s debut show on HDNet Fights. There will be 5 fights on the show including 3 title fights, former UFC fighter Rich Clementi will be in action and Mike Kyle will fight Travis Wiuff in the Main Event.

Welterweight Fight- Quinn Mulhern (8-1) vs. Rich Clementi (45-15-1)

R1- Clementi got a quick take down less than 30 seconds into the round but Mulhern was able to nullify the take down with his jiu jitsu. Clementi went for a toe hold near the end of the round but couldn’t get it. Close round, Mayhem gave it to Clementi due to submission attempts.

R2- Mulhern hit an early knee and got a take down. Mulhern landed an elbow and opened up a cut on Clementi. Mulhern landed some good Ground and Pound and the ref stopped the fight.

Winner: Quinn Mulhern by TKO (Strikes) R2 3:09

Flyweight Title Fight- Abel Cullum © (16-3) vs. Joe Coca (8-0)

R1- They went at it right from the opening bell. Collum got a triangle and landed some Ground and Pound and then tried to move to an arm bar but Coca got out. Collum got a double leg take down. Cullum grabbed a vicious kimura and Coca tapped out. Really good showing by Collum.

Winner: Abel Cullum by Submission (Kimura) R1 2:09

Heavyweight Title Fight- Tony Lopez © (17-2) vs. Tyler East (6-2)

R1- East is throwing head kicks early and seems to be the aggressor. East got a leg sweep take down towards the end of the round. Lopez grabbed an arm bar attempt from the bottom and then tried for a triangle but couldn’t lock either in. With about 20 seconds left Lopez locked on the triangle and got the submission win. East was controlling the fight but got tired and Lopez showed his advantage on the ground and finished the fight and keep his belt.

Winner: Tony Lopez by Submission (Triangle Choke) R1 4:54

Bantamweight Interim Title Fight- Donald Sanchez © (20-9) vs. Victor Valenzuela (9-4-2)

R1- Sanchez got a single leg take down early in the first round but couldn’t take advantage of it. Mostly even stand up after the first minute and a half. Close round.

R2- Valenzuela is the aggressor at the beginning of the round but Sanchez gets a take down. Sanchez really controlled on the ground until the end of the round. Mayhem and Schiavello say it’s one round a piece going into the third round.

R3- Sanchez got a quick take down in the first minute of this round. Sanchez landed some good Ground and Pound at the end of the round and almost finished the round. Borderline 10-8 round for Sanchez.

R4- Sanchez got a mount about half way through the round. Herb Dean stops the fight about half way through the round.

Winner: Donald Sanchez by TKO (Punches) R4 4:05

Heavyweight Fight- Mike Kyle (15-7-1) vs. Travis Wiuff (60-13)

R1- Wiuff got a double leg take down around the two minute mark of the round. Wiuff landed some good Ground and Pound. Kyle kicked Wiuff off but Wiuff grabbed a guillotine but didn’t seem to get it tight enough as Kyle slipped out and landed some Ground and Pound in the last 15 seconds of the round.

R2- Kyle hit a nice right hand and then landed some good strikes that stunned Wiuff in the first minute of the round. Kyle hit another good punch that wobbled Wiuff with about one minute left in the round. Kyle caught Wiuff with a right at the bell and then a left right after the bell and Wiuff slumps into the corner. There is debate as to whether this fight will continue or not. Herb Dean makes it official and calls the fight.

Winner: Mike Kyle by TKO (Doctor Stoppage) R2 5:00
