The Ultimate Fighter 8- Episode 10 Re-Cap
Team Noguiera vs. Team Mir

This is the show that will have John Polakowski versus George Roop, which is the last of the Lightweight Fights of the second round.

Roop injures his hand during training. Part of the show focuses in on Roop trying to overcome his injury and get his hand healed.

Polakowski is upset because someone messed with his Lucky Charms! It’s on now!!!!! No one messes with his Lucky Charms!

Big Nog shows up to the house the day before the fight and jokes around with the guys.

Lightweight Fight- George Roop vs. John Polakowski

R1- Roop has a big reach advantage and is throw a bunch of high kicks early. Roop gets a take down about a minute and a half into the round and gets some elbows landed. Roop takes John’s back but John turns over and takes Roop’s guard. Good first round that was pretty even. I think Roop took this 10-9 but John came back to get back in the round at the end.

R2- John pushes the pace at the beginning of the round as Roop looks a little tired. Roop got a take down about two minutes into the round. Roop busted John open with an elbow and then tried to take his back again. I’ve got Roop taking this round as well so I’ve got him up 20-18 on my score card.

Winner: George Roop by Decision (Unanimous)

Post-fight back at the house some of the guys throw eggs down at Team Mir at the pool and Junie goes off.

Semi-Final fight selections are up next and they bring the fighters in and ask them who they want to fight.

Phillipe Nover vs. George Roop
Efrain Escudero vs. Junie Browning

I think well get Bader and Nover definitely winning their fights and then the other two fights should be really solid.
