The Ultimate Fighter 8 Episode 9 Re-Cap

The Ultimate Fighter 8- Episode 9 Re-Cap
Team Noguiera vs. Team Mir

Krzysztof Soszynski faces Kyle Kingsbury this week in the last Light Heavyweight fight before the semi-finals. Krzysztof has an injured hand and this is the focal point of the first segment of the show. Dave Kaplan gets drunk and eggs someone on to hit him and he gets knocked out.

The guys decide to get Krzysztof back and prank him since he pranks the fighters each week when they fight. Krzysztof can’t help himself and pranks the team back.

Dan Henderson comes to help Mir train his guys. Henderson says he came down due to Krzysztof.

This week is the Coach’s Challenge. The sport they are playing is soccer. Big Nog wins. Mir is just awful at soccer.

Mir says that Krzysztof is the best striker in the house and is head and shoulders above everybody else in this aspect.

Light Heavyweight Fight- Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Kyle Kingsbury

R1- Kyle gets an early warning for throwing low knees. Krzysztof lands some decent punches. Kyle got a take down about two and a half minutes into the round after a long clinch- this might have actually been Krzysztof pulling guard. Krzysztof went for the arm bar and finishes the fight. Krzysztof looking pretty good and didn’t really take any damage from Kingsbury during the fight.

Winner: Krzysztof Soszynski by Submission (Arm Bar) R1
