Tony Lopez recently lost his KOTC Heavyweight Title. He still holds the KOTC Light Heavyweight Championship and will defend tonight against the tough Mike Kyle. Three titles will be on the line tonight. The announcers are Michael Schiavello and Frank Trigg. Maria is the backstage interviewer.

Welterweight Fight- Koa Ramos (7-1) vs. Sam Oropeza (3-0)

Ramos took this fight on only three days notice. Ramos is 4-1 in his last five fights. Oropeza trains with Eddie Alvarez and this is his 4th professional fight. Oropeza is 3-0 so far in his young career.

R1- Ramos clinched against the cage and picked up Oropeza and Oropeza quickly finished him with a guillotine.

Winner: Sam Oropeza by Submission (Guillotine Choke) R1 0:50

Bantamweight Title Fight- Donald Sanchez (19-10) vs. Angelo Sanchez (8-2)

Angelo currently holds the Bantamweight Title and Donald is the interim champion. Angelo beat Donald in 2009 by split decision but then suffered an injury that put him on the shelf. Donald won the interim title in February at the Vengeance show in HDNet when he defeated Victor Valenzuela by TKO in the 4th round. Donald has won 4 straight fights since losing the split decision to Angelo in May of 2009. Angelo is 5-0 in his last 5 and came back from injury in March when he beat Richard Montano by TKO.

R1- Donald got a take down at the one minute mark of the round but Angelo got back to his feet without sustaining any damage. Donald got top position again and landed a couple of strikes before standing back up. Donald 10-9.

R2- Angelo comes out the aggressor in this round. Donald pulls guard and goes for a submission but didn't get it. Angelo really controlled the first half of the round. Donald briefly got on top but Angelo swept him over and then landed some good strikes. Angelo took this round so we're tied up 19-19.

R3- Angelo comes out looking a little tired and Donald gets the first take down. Donald really controls this round. He briefly took Angelo's back but couldn't do anything in that position. Angelo tried to get an arm bar right at the end of the round but he couldn't lock it in. Donald 29-28 after three rounds.

R4- Lots of clinching in the first half of this round. Donald landed a couple of knees against the cage. Donald got a take down with a minute left in the round. Angelo went for a submission but couldn't get it and Donald landed a couple of strikes. Close round. I've got Donald 39-37 going into the final frame. Trigg says he also has it 3 rounds for Donald at this point.

R5- Donald landed a good right hand at the one minute mark of the round. Angelo has been cut open under one of his eyes. Donald got a take down with two minutes left in the fight but quickly let Angelo up. Angelo threw an overhand right and followed it up with a take down. The fight is standing again with one minute left. Donald landed a jumping knee but Angelo clinched him to minimize damage. Donald landed another flying knee and then they both threw leather for the last ten seconds. Decent fight. I've got Donald 49-46. The big factor in this fight was Angelo's cardio as it just wasn't at the level of Donald's.

For the fight Donald landed 114 strikes to Angelo's 93. Donald had 5 take downs and Angelo had 3 submission attempts.

Welterweight Fight- Quinn Mulhern (11-1) vs. Joey Gorczynski (17-8)

Joey is 4-1 in his last 5 with the loss being to Hector Lombard by decision. Mulhern is 4-1 in his last 5 with the loss coming to Michael Guymon. Mulhern bounced back from that loss with a win over former UFC fighter Rich Clementi. Mulhern has a big 5" height and 7" reach advantage.

R1- Joey picked up Mulhern and slammed him a minute and a half into the fight but then let him up. Mulhern got Joey down but Joey did a good job of controlling his body and took Mulhern's guard. Despite being on his back Mulhern did a good job of controlling Joey until they stood up. Mulhern landed a counter punch and Joey went down and Mulhern took his back and started landing some strikes. Mulhern finished strong to take this round 10-9.

R2- Mulhern fought off a take down and took the dominant position on the ground. Mulhern just really controlling this round. Mulhern mounted and landed some good Ground and Pound. Joey rolled over but he's just barely surviving at this point. Mulhern 20-18. Borderline 10-8 round. Mulhern with 48 strikes to Joey's 9 so far.

R3- Mulhern pounces on Joey to start this round and quickly gets him down on the mat. Mulhern got a Rear Naked and got the submission win. Mulhern really dominated the second and third rounds. Impressive showing by Mulhern.

Flyweight Title Fight- Abel Cullum (c) (19-3) vs. Joshua Montoya (7-2)

Cullum has fought for DREAM and Elite XC in the past and most recently tapped out Joe Coca in the first round of their KOTC fight in February. Collum is on a 2 fight win streak since losing to Hideo Tokoro in Japan one year ago. Collum has won 10 fights by submission. Montoya trains with Greg Jackson. He's won 3 straight fights since losing 2 in a row. Montoya has a 3" reach advantage.

R1- Cullum came right out and got a quick take down. Montoya got back to his feet and Cullum got another take down. Cullum took Montoya's back as he was trying to get back to his feet and clamped on a Rear Naked Choke and finished Montoya.

Heavyweight Fight- Darrill Schoonover (10-1) vs. Nick Gaston (3-0)

This is an elimination fight for the chance to fight Tony Johnson for the KOTC Heavyweight Title. Schoonover was a member of The Ultimate Fighter 10 and was a member of Team Rashad. Schoonover beat Zak Jensen in his first fight on TUF by triangle choke submission and then got KO'd by Marcus Jones. Schoonover also fought on The Ultimate Finale in December of 2009 but lost to James McSweeney by 3rd round TKO. Gaston is a boxer and skilled stand up fighter. His nickname is “Afrozilla”. He beat Mike Guidry by kimura submission at KOTC: Legacy back in March on HDNet.

R1- Afrozilla lands some early strikes and Darill clinches him to try to minimize damage. Afrozilla partially landed a head kick and then came in with a jumping kick and Darrill again clinched him as he fell to the mat. Afrozilla mounted Darrill but Darrill got out. Afrozilla bailed Darrill out by hitting him with a low kick. It looked like Afrozilla was moving in for the kill before the low blow. Darrill landed a couple of minor strikes and then Afrozilla pushed him down to the mat. Afrozilla 10-9.

R2- Darrill landed a left kick early in the round and busted open Afrozilla's nose. Afrozilla landed a couple of good kicks two minutes into the round. Darrill went for a take down but Afrozilla ended up on top. Afrozilla landed some good elbows and Darill started to bleed like crazy. The ref stepped in and stopped the fight as Darrill was just bleeding all over the place.

Light Heavyweight Title Fight- Tony Lopez (c) (18-3) vs. Mike Kyle (15-7-1)

In his last fight in March Tony Lopez lost his KOTC Heavyweight Title to Tony Johnson by unanimous decision. Mike Kyle has looked really impressive in his last two KOTC fights as he defeated Jon Murphy and Travis Wiuff by TKO. Kyle has won 4 of his last 5 with the loss coming to Fabricio Werdum. Lopez has also won 4 of his last 5 with the only loss coming to Tony Johnson in his last outing. Lopez has a 2" height and 3" reach advantage.

R1- Kyle landed a good counter punch early and Lopez started talking to him. Lopez is landing some leg kicks. Kyle is landing some decent punches. Lopez hit a good punch/kick combo. Close round but not much action. Could have gone either way. I'll give it to the champion 10-9. Lopez landed 26 strikes to 20.

R2- Lopez landed a kick to the face at the two minute mark of the round. Kyle answered with a good combo. Kyle caught a Lopez kick and dumped him onto the mat. Lopez looks like he has a small cut on his face. Kyle took this round in the last minute. I've got it 19-19 so far after two rounds. Kyle looked like he started to get into a groove at the end of this round.

R3- Kyle opens up more aggressive at the beginning of this round. Kyle is landing the better strikes in this round. Not a very exciting fight so far. I've got Kyle 29-28. Trigg says he has the same score.

R4- Kyle caught a leg kick and knocked Lopez off balanced and landed a good right hand. Kyle has done some damage to Lopez's face and he's bleeding. Kyle went for a take down but Lopez ended up on top. Lopez took this round and it's 38-38 going into the final round.

R5- Kyle is landing the better strikes in the first half of this round. Kyle landed a good combination with a minute and a half left in the fight. The strikes landed are about even for this round but Kyle's have looked like they had more behind them. Kyle grabbed a kick and clinched against the cage. Lopez tried to pull guard on a guillotine but lost it on the way to the ground. Kyle took this round and I've got him 48-47. Not a great fight. Neither guy really did enough to win the fight. Underwhelming Main Event.

This is the third installment of KOTC on HDNet and tonight in the Main Event former UFC fighter Joe Doerkson will take on Chad Herrick. Brad Burrick and Brandon Hunt will also fight for the Middleweight Title and David Shepherd will defend his lightweight title. Michael Schiavello and Frank Trigg are the announcers and former WWE diva Maria will handle backstage interviews. Jake Rosholt and Jeremy Horn were supposed to fight tonight but Jake had to pull out of the fight.

Middleweight Title Fight- Brad Burrick (c) (19-10) vs. Brandon Hunt (5-3)

These guys have already fought against each other twice with each guy holding one decision victory.

R1- Hunt went for a take down but ate a knee for his trouble. Burrick landed some good strikes and he's stuffing take down attempts so far. Burrick landed a good elbow that looked like it hurt Hunt. Schiavello makes a Nancy Kerrigan reference. Burrick landed a head kick but not with full impact. Hunt briefly got on top but Burrick flipped him over and got full mount and landed some good Ground and Pound and Hunt got saved by the bell. Borderline 10-8 round. CompuStrike stats tell us that Burrick landed 41 strikes to only 5 from Hunt in the first round.

R2- Holy Crap. Hunt comes out and tags Burrick and finishes this fight. That came out of nowhere.

Winner and new Middleweight Champion: Brandon Hunt by KO R2 0:59

165 lb Catchweight Fight- Steve Berger (21-18-3) vs. Waylon Lowe (7-2)

Berger has been fighting since 1998 and fought 3 times in the UFC. he's only 2-3 in his last 5 but he's fought some well known fighters like Rich Clementi, Shonnie Carter and Pete Spratt. Berger has finished 14 of his 21 wins by way of submission (67% submission ratio). Lowe has been training with two of the top lightweights in the world, Frankie Edgar and Eddie Alvarez, for this fight. He is on a 5 fight win streak. He has a wrestling background and has been working on his boxing lately.

R1- Lowe hit a big left hand and immediately got a take down but could not keep it. Lowe hit a big left hand that stunned Berger and floored him. Lowe was a little stunned he hit it so well and didn't immediately follow up. He went down and got some Ground and Pound but then let Berger up. Lowe is tagging Berger and this one is over. Great showing by Lowe. Dominate performance. Lowe landed 17 strikes to only 1 for Berger. Berger comes to slowly after the fight and they go ahead and take Berger out on a stretcher for pre-cautionary measures.

Schiavello mentions that the winner of Knockout of the Night wins a long-term contract with KOTC. Schiavello brings up that Trigg is currently training the Atlanta Falcons and he says it's not a bad gig. I just found out about that today and as a Falcons fan think it's very cool.

Middleweight Fight- Ben Lagman (6-1) vs. Angelo Popofski (14-7)

Lagman is 4-1 in his last 5 fights but is coming into this fight off of a submission loss. Lagman trained with Dan Henderson at Team Quest for this fight. Popofski has been fighting professionally since 1999. Popofski is 5-0 in his last 5 fights. Lagman has a 3" height and 5" reach advantage. Lagman was also in Season One of MTV's Bully Beatdown.

R1- Lagman tagged Popofski early and he went down but was able to revcover. Lagman caught Popofski again coming in. Lagman hit a good jumping knee. Lagman hit a big left and Popofski is down again but Lagman lets him up again. Lagman just dominating. Popofski tried for a single but Lagman just started pelting him with strikes and finally finished the fight. Lagman looked really good. Lagman landed 23 strikes to 1 for Popofski.

Welterweight Fight- Jason Holmes (6-1) vs. Daron Cruickshank (4-0)

Schiavello says Cruickshank is nasty. Holmes is taking this fight on only 2 weeks notice. Holmes is on a 2-fight win streak and is 4-1 in his last 5. Holmes has a 2" height and 6" reach advantage.

R1- Daron throwing out some highlight reel kicks but hasn't landed anything yet. Daron hit a good left but then a round kick was blocked. Daron hit a spinning back kick and then tried a jumping knee but Holmes fired back with some strikes. Good turning back kick by Daron to the chest. Good first round that was even although Daron was a lot more flashy so could have taken the round. Daron landed 14 strikes in the first round and Holmes landed 11.

R2- Not a lot of action in this round. Daron got a take down with one minute left in the round. Daron is going to take this round based on him gaining top position at the end of the round. In the second round Daron landed 14 strikes to 8 from Holmes.

R3- Both guys trade combinations but neither hits anything substantial and then Daron tried a flying knee but couldn't land it. Daron got a take down with about two minutes left in the fight but it quickly gets stood back up. Daron quickly got another take down and tried to take the back of Holmes. This one is going to go to the judges and I think Daron took rounds 2 and 3 so he's going to take the fight.

Lightweight Title Fight- David Shepherd (c) (3-1) vs. Dom O'Grady (9-2)

This is the first title defense for Shepherd. O'Grady's nickname is "I Hate You So Much". He is 4-1 in his last 5 fights. Shepherd has a background in wrestling but is called a self-taught mixed martial artist. All of Shepherd's wins have come by way of submission. O'Grady has a 6" reach advantage.

R1- O'Grady floored Shepherd early but allowed him to get back to his feet. Shepherd got a brief take down but O'Grady got back to his feet and hit a judo take down. Shepherd went for a triangle but couldn't get it. Shepherd went for a reverse arm bar but O'Grady rolled out of the submission attempt. Interesting round as Shepherd was very active from the bottom and might have stolen the round because of the submission attempts.

R2- O'Grady landed some good strikes to start the round and then landed another strike to get Shepherd to the ground. O'Grady jumped on top and started landing hammer fists but Shepherd grabbed him and then flipped him over and took top position. O'Grady went for a triangle off of his back. O'Grady tried to switch the triangle to an arm bar and lost the submission attempt. Shepherd re-took guard and landed some elbows. O'Grady went for another triangle and kept with it and finished quickly with what looked like an arm bar.

Middleweight Fight- Joe Doerkson (43-12) vs. Chad Herrick (7-3)

Herrick was a trouble youth and ended up in prison in his early 20s and then found an outlet for his aggression in MMA. Herrick is on a 2 fight win streak and has won 4 of his last 5 fights. This is Herrick's first fight at Middleweight as he normally fights at Light Heavyweight. Doerkson is a former UFC fighter who has been fighting for 11 years. Most of Doerkson's victories have come by submission. Doerkson is on a 4 fight win streak and is a black belt in jiu jitsu with extensive training in Muay Thai. Doerkson has Jeremy Horn in his corner for the fight.

R1- Herrick landed a good body shot that floored Doerkson but Herrick let him back to his feet. Doerkson landed some good strikes in the final minute but Herrick clinched him. Doerkson got a take down and took side control in the last 30 seconds of the round but didn't have time to do anything. Trigg gives the round to Doerkson. Doerkson landed 18 strikes to 8 for Herrick.

R2- Doerkson worked really hard for a take down and finally picked Herrick up and planted him on the mat but Herrick stood up and shrugged Doerkson off. Doerkson sustained a cut above his eye during the scuffle. Doerkson got a take down with three minutes left in the round. Doerkson got on Herrick's back but Herrick was able to pull off the move when Doerkson went for an arm bar. Herrick landed a good right hand and floored Doerkson but Herrick let him back up and the round ended. Trigg gives Herrick the second round because of him landing the last punch of the round. Overall Doerkson landed 20 strikes to 9 for Herrick and Doerkson also had 2 take downs to Herrick's zero in the round.

R3- Doerkson went for an immediate take down and completed it but Herrick was able to quickly get to his feet. Doerkson hit a big combination that floored Herrick. Doerkson got another take down with a minute and a half left in the fight. Doerkson took Herrick's back but couldn't finish him. Doerkson is going to get this one by decision. Trigg says we might be looking at a split decision. In the fight Doerkson landed 64 strikes to 24 for Herrick and Doerkson got 7 take downs.

This is the 2nd King of the Cage show on HDNet (the first was called Vengeance and was Feb 2nd). On this show Tony Lopez defends his Heavyweight Title against Tony Johnson. In the Main Event Mike Kyle will fight Jon Murphy of Bully Beatdown fame. The announcers for the show are “The Voice” Michael Schiavello and Jason “Mayhem” Miller. Former WWE diva and former CM Punk girlfriend Maria Kanellis is the backstage interviewer for the show.

Welterweight Title Fight- Quinn Mulhern (10-1) vs. Koffi Adzitso (11-4)

On the last KOTC show on HDNet Mulhern beat UFC vet Rich Clementi by TKO in the 2nd round. Mulhern has a 5″ height and 4″ reach advantage. Mulhern has won 4 of his last 5 with his last win coming on March 6th. Koffi is 3-2 in his last 5 fights and is on a 2 fight losing streak. In his last fight he lost to Kyacey Uscola who is on the version of The Ultimate Fighter. Not sure why someone with back-to-back losses is fighting for a title.

R1- Koffi’s stand-up looks pretty good early and he opened a cut over the eye brow of Mulhern. Koffi is landing some good strikes. Mulhern went for a double leg but Koffi ended up on top. Mulhern has strong jiu jitsu so this is where he wants the fight. Mulhern got him in a triangle but Koffi slipped out. Mulhern got him in another triangle but Koffi slipped out again. Koffi grabbed a omaplata and cranked back on Koffi’s shoulder and was just cranking back on his arm when the bell rung. Mulhern won this round with his submissions after the fight got to the ground.

R2- Mulhern went for an immediate take down and got it within the first minute of the round. Mulhern landed some strikes and then took Koffi’s back. Mulhern tapped Koffi out with a Rear Naked Choke.

Heavyweight Fight- Nick Gaston (3-0) vs. Mike Guidry (2-0)

Gaston is a boxer and skilled stand up fighter. His nickname is “Afrozilla”. Guidry has finished both of his pro fights (one by TKO and one by submission). Gaston has a 2.5″ reach and 4″ height advantage and also out weighs Guidry by 15 pounds.

R1- Guidry moving forward early and is the agressor. Lots of clinching and Gaston controlled Guidry with the Muay Thai clinch for a while. Gaston nailed some good strikes. Guidry has a horrible tank top suntan line. Gaston got a take down with two minutes left in the round. Guidry has been cut open. Gaston landed some good strikes on the ground. Gaston went for a kimura at the end of the round and got the tapout a few seconds before the end of the round.

Middleweight Fight- Tim Means (8-2) vs. Jaime Jara (25-7)

Jara is a 41 year old fighter who has held 5 titles in 4 different weight classes. Means is on a 6 fight win streak and won his last fight in less than a minute. One of the two losses on Means record is to UFC fighter Spencer Fisher and the other one came in 2004. Jara is on a 4 fight win streak.

R1- Jara got a quick take down in the first thirty seconds of the fight. Jara tried to mount and Means got back to his feet. Jara landed a good left hand that rocked Means and then he grabbed a guillotine and got the submission. Good showing for Jara.

Winner: Jaime Jara by Submission (Guillotine Choke) R1 2:19

Heavyweight Title Fight- Tony Lopez (c) (18-2) vs. Tony Johnson (3-0)

Lopez has defended this belt 4 times and is on a 16 fight win streak. He fought on the last HDNet KOTC card and beat Tyler East by Triangle Choke submission in the first round. Johnson is a former amateur wrestler at Iowa State and pro football player. Lopez has a 4″ height and 6″ reach advantage but Johnson has a huge 39 pound weight advantage. Lopez is the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion for King of the Cage. Strange that he isn’t Main Eventing since he’s a two-division champion. Johnson trains with American Top Team.

R1- Johnson got an early take down and then starting throwing a punch of strikes as Lopez tried to defend. Johnson landed 19 strikes in the first minute according to CompuStrike. Lopez stood up and tried to grab a submission but Johnson picked Lopez up over his head and slammed him to the ground in a tremendous feat of strength. Lopez stood up and went for a kimura but Johnson got a double leg and took him back down. Lopez went for an arm bar and Johnson tried to slam out of it and finally Lopez let go. Johnson clearly took this round. I’ve got it 10-9, if Lopez didn’t get some submission attempts it would have been 10-8.

R2- Johnson got a quick take down to start the round. Johnson stayed on top throughout the round. Lopez went for a triangle with about a minute and a half left in the round but Johnson slipped out. Johnson 20-18 after two rounds.

R3- Johnson got a take down in the first minute of the fight. Lopez tried to get up but Johnson grabbed a guillotine. Lopez pulled his head out and Johnson landed a strike or two and then took him back down. Johnson 30-27 after three rounds.

R4- Johnson got a take down with about four minutes left in the fight. Not an exciting fight right now as Johnson is just grinding it out. Mazzagatti stood the fight up with a minute and a half left. Johnson is winning 40-36 with one round left.

R5- Johnson got a take down/slam in the first thirty seconds of the round. Johnson is just grinding out this round. Lopez tries to grab a couple of arm bars in this round. Lopez almost got it in the last ten seconds of the fight but Johnson finally broke his arm out of the submission. Johnson is clearly going to take this fight on the score cards. Johnson ended up with 131 strikes to 29 for Lopez and 8 take downs for Johnson.

All the judges scored the fight the same but the scores were not announced.

Winner and new KOTC Heavyweight Champion: Tony Johnson by Decision (Unanimous)

Welterweight Fight- Dustin Akbari (4-1) vs. Jack Montgomery (7-7)

Urijah Faber is in Dustin’s corner and is taking pictures of him and probably tweeting them out as he enters the ring. This is a “swing” fight so it’s being shown due to them having time on the broadcast.

R1- Dustin got a quick take down. Dustin tried to hit some leg locks and then took his back and threw some strikes and knocked Montgomery out.

Winner: Dustin Akbari by KO R1 2:30

Maria grabs Urijah outside the cage. Urijah says he’s been training with him since he’s been 15 (he’s now 22). Urijah said it was supposed to be a 155lb fight but his opponent came in heavy and they took the fight at Welterweight.

Heavyweight Fight- Mike Kyle (16-7-1) vs. Jon Murphy (5-3)

Kyle fought on the last KOTC HDNet show and he knocked Travis Wiuff right at the bell in the 2nd round. Kyle trains at the American Kickboxing Academy and trained on stand up last week with Andre Arlovski. Kyle is 4-1 in his last five fights with his only loss coming to borderline Top 10 Heavyweight Fabricio Werdum and with a win over up and comer Rafael Cavalcante. Kyle has a 3″ reach advantage but is giving up 49 pounds to Murphy as Kyle comes in at only 211 pounds for the fight. Kyle has a 71% KO ratio.

R1- Kyle got a take down in the first twenty seconds of the fight. Kyle landed a bunch of strikes and tried to take the back but couldn’t and they stood back up. With two minutes left in the round Kyle had landed 41 strikes to 2 for Murphy. Murphy threw some big strikes and Kyle used his speed to get away and get a brief take down. Murphy grabbed a guillotine choke and Kyle took him down but Murphy rolled over and took Kyle’s guard with thirty seconds left in the round. Kyle 10-9.

R2- Murphy grabbed a guillotine and pulled guard but Kyle quickly popped his head out and scored an elbow. Kyle landed some more good elbows. The fight is stood back up and Kyle hits a judo throw and Murphy rolled over on top of Kyle. So far this round Kyle has 30 strikes to Murphy’s 2. Murphy landed a couple of good strikes from the top but Kyle worked actively from the bottom. Kyle was able to flip Murphy over and take top position. Kyle lands some good elbows and strikes as he had Murphy pinned in a crucifix position and kept pounding him and the ref stepped in and stopped the fight. Good showing for Kyle. Kyle landed 115 strikes to Murphy’s 17.

Michael Schiavello and Jason “Mayhem” Miller are the commentators for King of the Cage’s debut show on HDNet Fights. There will be 5 fights on the show including 3 title fights, former UFC fighter Rich Clementi will be in action and Mike Kyle will fight Travis Wiuff in the Main Event.

Welterweight Fight- Quinn Mulhern (8-1) vs. Rich Clementi (45-15-1)

R1- Clementi got a quick take down less than 30 seconds into the round but Mulhern was able to nullify the take down with his jiu jitsu. Clementi went for a toe hold near the end of the round but couldn’t get it. Close round, Mayhem gave it to Clementi due to submission attempts.

R2- Mulhern hit an early knee and got a take down. Mulhern landed an elbow and opened up a cut on Clementi. Mulhern landed some good Ground and Pound and the ref stopped the fight.

Winner: Quinn Mulhern by TKO (Strikes) R2 3:09

Flyweight Title Fight- Abel Cullum © (16-3) vs. Joe Coca (8-0)

R1- They went at it right from the opening bell. Collum got a triangle and landed some Ground and Pound and then tried to move to an arm bar but Coca got out. Collum got a double leg take down. Cullum grabbed a vicious kimura and Coca tapped out. Really good showing by Collum.

Winner: Abel Cullum by Submission (Kimura) R1 2:09

Heavyweight Title Fight- Tony Lopez © (17-2) vs. Tyler East (6-2)

R1- East is throwing head kicks early and seems to be the aggressor. East got a leg sweep take down towards the end of the round. Lopez grabbed an arm bar attempt from the bottom and then tried for a triangle but couldn’t lock either in. With about 20 seconds left Lopez locked on the triangle and got the submission win. East was controlling the fight but got tired and Lopez showed his advantage on the ground and finished the fight and keep his belt.

Winner: Tony Lopez by Submission (Triangle Choke) R1 4:54

Bantamweight Interim Title Fight- Donald Sanchez © (20-9) vs. Victor Valenzuela (9-4-2)

R1- Sanchez got a single leg take down early in the first round but couldn’t take advantage of it. Mostly even stand up after the first minute and a half. Close round.

R2- Valenzuela is the aggressor at the beginning of the round but Sanchez gets a take down. Sanchez really controlled on the ground until the end of the round. Mayhem and Schiavello say it’s one round a piece going into the third round.

R3- Sanchez got a quick take down in the first minute of this round. Sanchez landed some good Ground and Pound at the end of the round and almost finished the round. Borderline 10-8 round for Sanchez.

R4- Sanchez got a mount about half way through the round. Herb Dean stops the fight about half way through the round.

Winner: Donald Sanchez by TKO (Punches) R4 4:05

Heavyweight Fight- Mike Kyle (15-7-1) vs. Travis Wiuff (60-13)

R1- Wiuff got a double leg take down around the two minute mark of the round. Wiuff landed some good Ground and Pound. Kyle kicked Wiuff off but Wiuff grabbed a guillotine but didn’t seem to get it tight enough as Kyle slipped out and landed some Ground and Pound in the last 15 seconds of the round.

R2- Kyle hit a nice right hand and then landed some good strikes that stunned Wiuff in the first minute of the round. Kyle hit another good punch that wobbled Wiuff with about one minute left in the round. Kyle caught Wiuff with a right at the bell and then a left right after the bell and Wiuff slumps into the corner. There is debate as to whether this fight will continue or not. Herb Dean makes it official and calls the fight.
